Layout 2-
The element and principle demonstrated is line and perspective. The picture is used in the context to inform you about a tractor ride. I feel that they accomplished what I hope they were going for. This picture looks like what I/you would see if I/you decided to stick your head outside of a tractor and looked back. It's an appealing picture to me.
Layout 3-
Based on my knowledge the layout is using shape and unity. There are different shapes brought together on one mutual background color. However, it was hard for me to focus. At the top of the text that is what I assume the article is it says "Near Field Communications(NFC)" I couldn't read anything after. My attention span couldn't read anything else. I constantly found my eyes jumping and being fixated on the giant word "infancy". It grabbed my attention but not in the way I think was intended
Layout 4-
The picture from my understanding is to highlight small southern towns that no one might know about. I get it I grew up in Bonaire, Georgia for a while. Small towns are great and the picture used is to represent it. It's a nicer picture than just a farm in the middle of no where. They are using point and variety. They took a picture with many people in the picture/in the picture's background. Small towns are like families and they, I believe, have represented it very well.
Layout 7-
I think this is a shape(maybe value) and unity layout. This picture was more busy than number 3. There is text but it's so small the pictures over power it. They also don't make any sense in what they are trying to accomplish. The little pictures were blocky and cute. The graphs were on the right side made no sense because of the super tiny text. It's fun to look at but in the end I don't know exactly what I am looking at
